Tarot Readings

Tarot
The Tarot originated in Italy sometime around the 15th century.
Tarot decks are many and varied.  You can find traditional, movie, tv, cartoon and lifestyle themed decks.  However, the Rider Waite and the Thoth are the most widely known versions.
A Tarot reader usually has a favorite type deck they work with as well as a unique style of reading.  I favor the Universal Celtic Tarot and the Rider Waite decks.
Each reading is shaped by the Spread that you choose.  For each card placement there is a meaning.  Keep in mind, the larger the Spread the more detailed information you receive.  Not every question requires the same amount of detail.  If you are unsure about the spread, you can email me to discuss it.
Sometimes you might want to see what the cards have say without a specific question or goal. Honestly, some of the most interesting readings happen then.  Each Tarot Reading is unique to the person and where they are in life.
A reading with me begins with a short conversation on what you are seeking knowledge on.  As we progress, I inform you of the card’s position significance, what the card is expressing along with any messages Spirit would like to add.
Here are the Tarot Spreads I offer:
The Celtic Cross Reading
The Celtic Cross Spread is one of the oldest and most traditional Tarot spreads.  It is split into two sections:  The Cross and the Staff.  The cross delivers information on the heart of the situation while the Staff informs about where you are in the situation.  This is a very in-depth look into the question or situation you are seeking information and guidance on.
The Elemental Tarot Spread has a card for each of the four earthy elements – Fire, Air, Water and Earth, along with an element card for Spirit.  This Tarot reading is a journey through how to use the elements around us to guide, support and nourish us in life.
The Safe Passage Spread is a 7 card journey through what is happening in your life, how you got there, obstacles in your path, what will be gained and what is to come.
